Captain Torin of the Crux Ansata has found himself without a pilot, again. He’s on a deadline for his current job and willing to take a chance on the hotshot running from the local law enforcement. Rain is not only happy to get out of a jam. He is also more than excited about a space adventure with the sexy Captain Torin.

Torin and Rain are an opposite attract that just did not work for me. Rain is naïve, presented as young and not too bright, but always the optimistic do-gooder. Torin is presented as wise in the ways of the In-Between, non-trusting and the pessimist. Sexually they worked for me. They have a sexual chemistry that ignites when then get into heated arguments. I started looking forward to when Rain and Torin were alone and not seeing eye to eye.

Sky Riders has a great combination of many things that I just love. I love reading futuristic sci fi books where I’m taken to far away planets in distance galaxies in a time that I will never see. I love some good sexing in the romances that I read. I also enjoy male male romances. I think perhaps Torin and Rain just didn’t work for me. They had their moments though. I can see myself giving the next book in the series a try. I will definitely read more by this author.

Favorite quote, Rain to Torin. “Is that what this is? I thought afterglow was for virgins on their wedding nights. Not for foul-mouthed mercenary pirates who plow their pilots through the mattress.”

Hilarious quote! I like Sci-Fi M/M too. I’ll have to give this one a try.
